Me and my family went out for a day trip. We wanted something less busy than Elk lake. Hands down a great experience. We rented a jet ski. The staff is over the top friendly, helpful, and helped us enjoy our day. Cultus is one of my favorite places to go have fun on a lake that’s not too far from bend. The owners have done a great job with upgrades and have made a place you always want to comeback to. If I could, I would add 5 more stars to this review.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch and, a day later, for dinner. Both meals were surprisingly delicious. Not at all what we were expecting. Lunch was fairly typical burgers and fries but there are surprises asking the sides. The fried cauliflower was an unexpected treat.
The dinner menu was equally surprising as we expected more burgers but we were treated to baby back ribs, an entree sized mac and cheese, and Cajun style shrimp bake. All were delicious! This would be a great restaurant in any city but was far more impressive seeing next to a small lake in the Cascades.
We absolutely love everything and everyone at Cultus lake. We stayed in the cabin and had such a wonderful time. The cabin was well stocked, clean, convenient & close to the lake.
We rented the Seadoo boat. What a blast. Our grandkids loved it. The boat was easy to operate and the dock staff were beyond outstanding.
Make sure you visit the store & eat at the restaurant. The dirty fries are killer!
We can’t wait to come back next summer.
We have been coming to Central Oregon for years and stumbled across this hidden gem. We were lucky enough to pick the perfect off season week with perfect warm weather, no smoke and hardly anyone on the lake. We rented jet skis and had a blast! We finished our afternoon with drinks on the deck with a view of the lake.
We will definatley be back!
So I planned a family day at Cultus lake and rented 2 wave runners. It was a perfect day at the lake. We got there and went through all the signing/video etc... Then got a space on the BEACH. Wow having access to that beach soo close to the resturant/restrooms etc.. WE will make this our annual location to come ride some wave runners. Looking at renting some rooms next time as well. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Pricing seemed reasonable the WAVE runners were awesome!!! 4 and 6 year old grand daughters could not get enough of them!!

Another one in the books for our day trip to Cultus. Rented a Pontoon and headed out to the cove where we found no wind or smoke. The staff at Cultus is always so friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about the clear waters and beautiful views, but we make this our annual haunt! P.S. water is cold but refreshing and its always a little cooler so bring a ball cap and hoodie!
We rented a pontoon boat and jet skis from the equipment shop at the Cultus Lake Resort. Their equipment was in great condition and their orientation/training were very good. The staff were very helpful and professional.
Cultus Lake is about 30 minutes from Sunriver. Be advised that as you cross Road 46 (Lava Lake Road) from Sunriver, Google Maps will try to have you continue straight where the bridge is long gone (if there ever was one). Turn south on 46 and then turn right on NF-4635.
